The first Video is of our best friend (Pastor Michael and his wife Rebecca) who just had terminal cancer, Rita Recupido. While in treatment for cancer her husband had a heart attack, but he is obviously still with us as you will see. This is an amazing person who God granted a Miracle, please watch this video. Prayer here does work…..

Faith Church is a Loving & Praying Church. God has anointed this congregation, and this Church with his Loving power, and the results have been seen by us all. In November of 2007 we started “40 Days of Prayer”. This was not your regular 40 Days of Prayer, we actually prayed in our Church sanctuary 40 continuous days, beginning November 23nd, 2007 through January 1st 2008. Anyone could
e-mail their request in, and we would make a card for the requested person of prayer, the card had their name and the name of the person requesting prayer below theirs. Theses large yellow cards were posted all over our main sanctuary. We did not write the need on the card, it is our belief that we pray for God to address the need, we prayed for the whole person, their spiritual life and their true needs. Each person who prayed would initial the card each time they prayed. God is amazing! When the “40 Days of Prayer” was over these cards were sent all over the world to those who were prayed for. Some did not even know they were on the list until then, and then they saw all who had prayed and connected those prayers to their circumstances. We have also been on line with prayer partners here locally, who have been steadfast in prayer for the Lord.
God responded and then they responded.
Below you will see the miracles, answers and praises of the Lord.

Hello my friend.
Thanks for being so good to me. I know I haven't been the greatest about personal emails to you.....just stuff....LOTS of stuff.

The "job prayer request" was part of the 40 days too. Please include Shad Ro.... miracle. Doctors and genetic counselors told us that he had an 85% chance of dying within hours or days of birth. They told us to go home and prepare our other 3 children to burry their baby brother. People prayed for us and laid hands on my baby within my womb...my big belly (-; and I felt a PHYSICAL sensation in my belly that included warmth, and I left church saying..."I am either loosing my ever loving mind or GOD, in his great mercy just healed our baby" ! He is 6 months old now, and he has NEVER even had a cold !!!
Another 40 day prayer answered was our car situation. Our current car was fixed for free by a believer and shortly there after GOD blessed us with as 2nd vehicle that would seat the entire family.

The Miracle I had when I was told that I had Cirrhosis of the Liver, which turned into Liver Failure almost overnight. Spending time in and out of the Hospital and going thru a battery of tests, the Doctors couldn't find any reason for my Liver failure. I finally was sent by Rescue to Shands Hospital in Gainesville. This is where I waited for my transplant. The Doctors were having a hard time finding a matching Liver for me due to my blood type. To show how God works miracles, and in mysterious but wonderful ways, My Step-Son was at the ball park and my primary Doctor was also at the ball park. He asked my step-son how I was doing, so my step-son told the Doctor about Shands not being able to find a matching liver because of my blood type, and then he told him (my Doctor) my blood type. My Doctor stated that blood type didn't sound correct to him, and he was going to go back to his office to check on that. Which he did promptly During this time the Surgeons were telling my Husband and Mother that I had only 1 to 2 hours to live. I had been in and out of a comma, but I came to enough to ask them; couldn't they see the Angels in the hall, the Angels had come, and they told me I was going to be Ok. Soon after this my Doctor called Shands with the correct blood type and almost immediately Shands found a Liver that matched my type. All Prayers were answered, and another one of Gods’ Miracles took place in me. I was granted a second chance at life, and a chance to become a better Christian, all this made thru the Faith and Power of Prayer, and delivered through God. Priscilla

Thank you all so much for your prayers for Lilly!
I am sorry it has taken so long to email.
Here is a picture of Lilly, two weeks after her surgery.
As you can see, she is doing great and she is our miracle. She is the same bright, happy girl she was before the surgery.
We have a better understanding about how precious each day we have with each other is.
We praise God that the surgeons were able to remove 75 - 80% of the tumor (Pilocytic Astrocytoma)! Her shunts are working and the many scars are healing.
The doctors will run a MRI on her every 3 months. Rebekah, her mother (my oldest daughter) is waiting for God's guidance on what will be done in the future.
We know that Lilly is in His hands and that He will take care of her.
Please continue to pray for Lilly and Rebekah.
Rebekah will postpone her intership as a teacher (last semeter of school) until January and do some substitute teaching in the mean time.
Lilly and Rebekah will make visits to our house a couple of times each month. They are now living with Rebekah's aunt.
This whole experience has brought us all closer as a family and definately closer to our Lord and Savior. There will be a web site published later to keep all interested parties informed on Lilly's progress. I will email everyone that site when it is up and in operation.

Uncle Don, one of our own family church membersuncle was given only six months to live by the Doctors "lung Cancer" (spots all over both lungs" . During our "Forty Days of Prayer" he felt different and went to the Doctor......His lungs are healed and he has a New Life, his lungs are clear......Praise God.....

Here I am back in school – working summer school, wouldn’t ya know … L -- gotta do what we gotta do … J
Just wanted to let you know – those of you who haven’t already heard – that Jim was released this past week by
both his BMT and Oncology drs to go to work. So, he’s been busy finalizing the ole resume’ and plans to start the search this week. He’ll be looking in G’Ville since he needs to stay close for his checkups. He says in about a year or so he can look elsewhere if he wants a change. He will be doing full-body scans around the end of July. We’ll keep you posted about that. We are so encouraged and pray the Lord will give guidance and strength to Jim as he begins to make his way.
Hope this finds everyone well. We love you all and pray God’s blessings upon you. Have a wonderful summer!! Just wanted to let everyone know I’m back in Middleburg (and at work) and Jim is happily relocated in G’Ville. He’s feeling well and looks good. He’s now released from the BMT Unit back to his oncologist. He’ll need to check in weekly with his doctor, then will drop to monthly, then every three months – for about 2 years. All the cells reintroduced back into his system were clean and it is our prayer that he is completely healed. We give thanks to the Lord for all He has done and we know He will continue to do, not only in Jim’s life, but in the life of our entire family. My heartfelt thanks to all of you for your unfaltering support and prayers. I continue to pray for each of you as I know you will us.

I talked with Dennis at lunch time today. He sounds good. He will be having Triple By-Pass surgery on 3 major clogged arteries and also have the heart valve replaced with a Cow's heart valve. It will all take place at 7:30 a.m. Thurs.
That's all I know. His daughter, Mary Jo, is flying down there today. Shari has a lot of friends around to help her get through this ordeal.
I just thought I would let you two know that my uncle is doing very good after the triple by-pass. My dad sent me some photos of him actually sitting up in bed after only 2 days. That’s pretty amazing. They think he is going to be OK.
His name is actually John Dennis Kahn..... He went by Dennis until only about 15 years ago. Now he goes by John. My aunt, who sent the email that you saw, moved away from Michigan before he started going by John, so she still calls him Dennis. That’s in case you are confused by the last email with his name as Dennis and this one with John in the title.

40 Days of Prayer.....Faith Wesleyan will be in 40 Days of Prayer from November 22nd through December 31st 2008. We ask that everyone prays for our initiative to reach the community in prayer, in the name of the
Father, the son Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
I am Pastor Michael Allen, the new Pastor here at Faith Wesleyan Church of Orange Park. I have been here just a year and we are doing our second initiative to the community. I am contacting you
for assistance of "40 Days of Prayer". Faith Church will be praying 40 continuous days from Nov. 22nd through December 31st, 2008. 6-9 pm every evening for 40 days.
Anyone can request that a prayer card be put in your loved ones name, this can include co-workers and military personnel also.
The cards will be posted individually in the main sanctuary and continuously prayed over for 40 Days. Each person that prays will initial the card each time of praying, and at the end of the 40 Days the card will be given to the individual prayed for.
